Mitr Learning & Media proudly announces that mynd, part of the Mitr family of learning companies, has won the eLearning Journal Awards 2026 in the Blended Learning category. The award recognizes an impactful learning solution developed by mynd in collaboration with the Prevention Center for Behavioral Addictions Berlin.
The winning program supports educational professionals in identifying early signs of emotional distress in children living in families affected by a parent’s behavioral addiction, such as excessive smartphone dependency. Learners are guided to respond with clarity, empathy, and a strong sense of responsibility.
This recognition reflects Mitr’s ongoing commitment to learning solutions that support real human needs and create meaningful societal impact.
What set the project apart
- Empathetic storytelling through a real-world perspective
The entire learning experience is guided through the eyes of a daycare educator, strengthening the ability to spot subtle behavioral and emotional cues in children affected by a parent’s addiction. - AI-powered visual design for a sensitive subject
Instead of real-life footage, mynd used AI to craft a warm, abstract, and emotionally safe visual world. A relatable AI-avatar leads learners through both emotional reflection and action-oriented decision points.
These design choices allowed a complex topic to be explored with compassion and practical relevance.
